What is coaching and how does it work?

Professional Coaching is an ongoing professional relationship that helps people produce extraordinary results in their lives, careers, businesses or organizations. Through the process of coaching, clients deepen their learning, improve their performance, and enhance their quality of life. In each meeting, the client chooses the focus of conversation, while the coach listens and contributes observations and questions. This interaction creates clarity and moves the client into action. Coaching accelerates the client's progress by providing greater focus and awareness of choice. Coaching concentrates on where clients are now and what they are willing to do to get where they want to be in the future. ICF member coaches recognize that results are a matter of the client's intentions, choices and actions, supported by the coach's efforts and application of the coaching process.”

Is coaching a form of therapy?

Coaching is not the same as professional or licensed therapy; you are always free to reject any advice, suggestions or requests I make at any time. My goal is to be direct and unconditionally supportive with you. Coaching is a process and a journey and will hopefully lead you to discover things about yourself that you couldn't see before.

What if I need assistance between sessions?

I provide ongoing e-mail support and I encourage you to take advantage of this. However, if you have an immediate problem or cannot wait to share a success with me, feel free to call between appointments. As I do not bill for this time I ask that you use it respectfully.

How long does it take to see progress?

Typically results can occur quickly, however it varies between individuals.

Sessions are held over the phone or online via Skype.
